Design
Our home cities of Edinburgh and Barcelona are steeped in architectural history. Beautiful buildings renovated with flair, style and refined taste. In the last twenty years we have bought and renovated four houses and sixteen flats in several European cities. We never take a back seat preferring to work with clever and creative people to produce an environment worth living in.
Having finally settled in Heidelberg we consolidated our portfolio here, carefully selecting projects where we could bring value add and create places we wanted to live in. From the creation of space and functionality to clever use of colours and materials to make that space a home we work hard to make sure you dont have to. At least not for a beautiful place to live.
Elegance
Heidelberg is a wonderful city with a lot to offer but we found its property drab and uninspired. The buildings had charm but noone had shown them any love and attention. We did not just want to offer the same basic accommodation.Why should you not have a living experience to match the city.
The properties we selected were tired and worn but full of potential. Working with craftsmen and a talented interior designer to bring that potential creating an eloquent and coherent architectural language against this historical backdrop has been a very rewarding experience.
History
Our work is far from over. We are currently overseeing the rebirth of two properties in the Neuenheim area of Heidelberg. The properties long past included time as a bookbinders and storage for the first Orange and Lemon seller in Heidelberg. The resultant five flats are a work in progress but we are working hard to protect the history and the features while offering all the modern comforts you expect from your home.
